Over 72,000 spectators enjoyed the effervescent Top Gear trio of Clarkson, Hammond and May presenting their unique show at Birmingham’s NEC and the new, larger capital home of ExCeL London recently, as well as the successful debut of the Top Gear Live indoor track hosted by Tiff Needell.

This year, the all-new format meant visitors were treated to a triple whammy of action with a live action arena show, track show and a packed exhibition floor.

The Stig showcased his unrivalled driving ability as he tore around the Lotus configured tracks in a selection of supercars while Clarkson, May and Hammond gave a spectacular display with their Olympic themed show. Fans were left wowed at the fast paced action show, which climaxed with a parkour athlete taking place in the first ever ‘Car Hurdles’, leaping over a speeding Lamborghini Murcielago.

The exhibition hall also saw a host of exciting features including a re-creation of the famous Top Gear Studio, the chance to become decision makers on the formidable ‘Cool Wall’ and a selection of the world’s leading car manufacturers showcasing their latest offerings.

As producers begin planning the 2012 show to make it even better than ever before, fans can keep an eye on facebook.com/topgearliveuk and www.topgearlive.co.uk for all the latest news.
