Exciting Send-Off for ICC Champions Trophy

Dubai’s Lamcy Plaza shopping mall was the venue for a very special display over the weekend of 3-4th May, as around 25,000 visitors enjoyed the chance to get up-close to the prestigious ICC Champions Trophy.

Fans from across the UAE jumped at the chance to see, and be photographed with, the tournament trophy, for which the world’s top cricketers will be competing in England and Wales in June.

In addition to the star of the stand, cricket bats signed by the eight participating teams were also on show, alongside caps from the eight participating countries.

Working for the International Cricket Council, Performance Communications managed all aspects of this high profile activation as the trophy made its final appearance in the UAE, home of the ICC, before making its way to the UK.
