Nissan announced as the Official Automotive partner for Team GB and Paralympics GB

On the 25th April Nissan was announced as the Official Automotive partner for Team GB and Paralympics GB on the road to Sochi 2014 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games, and the Rio 2016 Olympic and Paralympic Games.

To maximise the partnership announcement, Performance Communications held a photo call in Central London on the morning of a BOA media briefing with Lord Seb Coe.

Images, broadcast VNR and radio footage from the event were all syndicated nationwide within the hours of the announcement, including photography and video gathered in advance of the day with Team GB gymnast, Max Whitlock and Paralympics GB athlete, Richard Whitehead.

Following the partnership announcement, coverage was secured in most of the national newspapers including The Times, Daily Mail, Express, i, Metro and The Guardian in both print and on-line editions.

Over 80 national radio stations aired interview audio with Lord Seb Coe and the story was broadcast on Sky News.
